A cross-divisional department spanning

Department of Environmental Health and Engineering

Programs

We are anchored in two schools: The Whiting School of Engineering and the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and our students benefit from close interdisciplinary partnerships with the School of Medicine, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, and the Carey Business School. Our strategic partnerships across the institution and around the world advance technology, human health, and resiliency. Our ever-evolving academic programs combine theory with practical experiences to address real-world problems.

Undergraduate Programs

Our graduates are prepared to be successful engineering professionals in private and governmental organizations or students in the best graduate programs. You can choose a minor that relates to your major or explore other interests with a minor in the humanities. We also offer a combined BS/MS that lets students earn a graduate degree in five years and increase their earning potential.
