Support a First-year Underrepresented Minority Graduate Student
The number of underrepresented minorities (URMs) among the graduate school population is significantly low. First-generation, low-income, LGBTQ, and minority students are often underrepresented in graduate schools, which means that they make up only a small fraction of the universities total population.
Your gifts are particularly valued because they, unlike federal funding, typically allow considerable freedom to pursue exciting, novel cutting-edge studies with a particularly high potential payoff.
Your gift will help:
- Sponsor student scholarships to attract and train the most talented environmental health scientists and engineers and public health leaders,
- Support faculty research to develop affordable means of protecting the health of underserved populations of the world,
- Endow chairs by which we can attract the brightest emerging faculty and retain them through the heights of their careers
To support a first-year minority student, please visit our secure Make a Gift Website. On the online donation form, you can indicate that you want your contribution to go toward the support of the field labeled "Please designate my gift to support").
No gift is too small. Your donation of any amount is welcomed.
