The Bachelor of Arts/Master of Health Science (BA/MHS) program is a coordinated academic collaboration between the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences on the Homewood campus (supporting the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Health Sciences) and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (supporting the Master of Health Science degree).
The program is tailored to prepare individuals for careers that have a basic science foundation, including medicine. It also prepares students for careers oriented to health policy, management systems (domestic and international), social and behavioral sciences, and quantitative sciences fundamental to public health. Admitted students must complete the BA degree before formally enrolling in the degree program. BA students in their Junior and Senior years are welcome to apply.
